Jordan and Palestine Explore Enhanced Industrial and Trade Ties

Ramallah: Jordanian Ambassador to the State of Palestine Issam Bdour met with Palestinian Minister of Industry Arafat Asfour on Thursday to explore ways of enhancing bilateral relations, particularly in the industrial and trade sectors. The discussions focused on mechanisms to support joint projects and broaden cooperation between the two nations.

According to Jordan News Agency, Bdour emphasized the strong ties between the Jordanian and Palestinian peoples, reaffirming Jordan's commitment to bolstering the Palestinian economy and promoting industrial partnerships that benefit both countries. The ambassador's remarks highlighted the enduring relationship and mutual interests shared by the two sides.

Asfour expressed appreciation for Jordan's ongoing support of the Palestinian cause. He underscored the importance of continued coordination to facilitate trade, improve the investment climate, and encourage Jordanian private sector investment in Palestine. The meeting in Ramallah reflected the commitment of both parties to strengthen their economic and industrial collaboration.
