Aqaba:Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi engaged in comprehensive discussions with Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Shaibani to enhance bilateral relations and bolster strategic cooperation between Jordan and Syria.
According to Jordan News Agency, the ministers met in Aqaba and underscored the deep-rooted connections between the two nations, committing to transform these into a strategic partnership across multiple sectors. The dialogue included preparation for the upcoming third session of the Jordanian-Syrian Higher Coordination Council, set to occur in Damascus on November 8 and 9, 2026, and an assessment of the progress since the council's second session in Amman last April.
