Jordan and UAE Explore Enhanced Parliamentary Cooperation

Amman: Lower House Speaker Mazen Qadi welcomed Charg© d'Affaires of the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Amman, Counselor Hamad Abdulla Al-Matrooshi, to discuss prospects of joint cooperation, particularly in the parliamentary field. Qadi emphasized the deep-rooted ties between Jordan and the UAE under the leadership of both countries and stressed the importance of enhancing joint parliamentary coordination. He expressed gratitude to the Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council and highlighted a commitment to aligning positions to serve the interests of both nations and broader Arab causes.

According to Jordan News Agency, Al-Matrooshi echoed the sentiments of strong and historic relations between the two countries. He expressed the UAE's keen interest in further developing these ties across various fields to achieve mutual interests.
