Jordan Armed Forces Collaborate Internationally for Airdrop Operations to Gaza

Amman: The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) conducted seven airdrop operations on Friday to deliver nearly 57 tonnes of relief, food aid, and formula to Gaza, with the participation of several countries. These efforts are part of ongoing operations to provide essential supplies to the region.

According to Jordan News Agency, the recent operations increase the total aid delivered to 148 tonnes since airdrops were resumed a week ago. The operations utilized aircraft from various nations, including two from the Royal Jordanian Air Force, alongside planes from the United Arab Emirates, Germany, France, and Spain.

These airdrops, directed by royal mandate, are aimed at enhancing humanitarian support to Gaza amidst the ongoing conflict with Israel. The JAF has pledged to continue their humanitarian mission through both airdrops and land convoys.

The JAF has reported conducting 133 airdrops independently since the onset of the conflict in Gaza, in addition to 276 joint operations in collaboration with international partners.
