Jordan Expresses Regret Over Damage to Qatari Embassy in Kyiv

Amman: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has expressed regret concerning the damage sustained by the Qatari Embassy in Ukraine. The damage occurred as a result of the recent shelling targeting Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine.

According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry's spokesperson, Fouad Majali, highlighted the importance of adhering to international law and the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. This convention ensures the protection of diplomatic missions and their personnel. Majali reiterated Jordan's stance advocating for a peaceful solution to the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian crisis through dialogue and negotiation.
