AMMAN: Jordan has successfully fortified its regional political influence in the face of regional challenges, according to Mohammad Momani, the Minister of Government Communication. Momani credited the Hashemite leadership's decision-making prowess and the professionalism of the nation's military and security forces as key contributors to this achievement.

According to Jordan News Agency, Momani emphasized the importance of sound, fair, and wise decisions by the Hashemite leadership during challenging times, which have been instrumental in guiding the nation through political obstacles. He highlighted the military's and security forces' role in maintaining stability, managing crises, and the resilience of Jordanians as crucial elements reinforcing Jordan's position.

During a symposium at the University of Jordan, Momani underscored the role of media in addressing both local and global challenges. He commended Jordan's media institutions for their ability to balance rapid response with factual clarity while maintaining objectivity and professionalism. These efforts, he noted, have been essential in raising public awareness about threats to Jordan and shielding citizens from misinformation.

Momani further acknowledged the professionalism of Jordanian media outlets in confronting campaigns aimed at undermining the nation's security and stability. He praised both official and unofficial media for their credibility, attributing this to a strong legal framework that upholds freedom of opinion and expression within legal parameters.

The minister also highlighted Jordan's leadership in media and information literacy, focusing on awareness, credibility verification, and combating misinformation. He encouraged students to seek information from original sources and to challenge false narratives. Moreover, Momani urged university students to learn a language other than Arabic to keep abreast of global developments and to effectively communicate Jordan's stance on the international stage.
