KARIMA: The Ministry of Water and Irrigation / Jordan Valley Authority (JVA) has successfully ended 11 new attacks on the King Abdullah Canal (KAC) in the Karima area of the Northern Jordan Valley District. This operation is part of a broader campaign aimed at safeguarding the Kingdom's vital water resources. According to Jordan News Agency, the campaign was executed by the region's water departments in collaboration with a security force and the Irbid police. The JVA emphasized that this initiative is part of a comprehensive strategy designed to minimize attacks on water resources, ensuring their fair distribution to both citizens and farmers. The JVA highlighted that the effort to rectify these breaches was carried out with determination, underscoring the action to protect Jordan's water resources as a national priority. The authority aims to ensure the sustainability of these resources and enhance overall water security. The JVA also called for compliance with the laws regulating water use, stressing th at the preservation of these resources is a shared national duty.
