Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II on Wednesday received a phone call from European Council President Ant³nio Costa to discuss regional developments and explore ways to enhance the strategic partnership between Jordan and the European Union.
According to Jordan News Agency, His Majesty emphasized the significant role of the European Union in supporting Palestinians in their quest for legitimate rights, reinforcing their resilience in their homeland, and establishing a political framework to achieve peace based on the two-state solution. The King also highlighted the need for increased efforts to restore the ceasefire in Gaza and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid.
The conversation further addressed the robust cooperation between Jordan and the EU, along with strategies to expand collaboration across various sectors.
