National Cycling Championship Concludes After Two Days of Competition in Amman

Amman: The Jordan Cycling Federation has concluded the National Cycling Championship after two days of competition held along the Queen Alia International Airport Road in Amman, with riders competing across multiple age categories in both road race and time trial events.

According to Jordan News Agency, the championship concluded on Saturday with individual time trial races for all men's and women's categories. The men's elite and under-23 men's races covered a distance of 40 kilometres, while the women's elite, under-23 women, junior women, junior men, youth boys and youth girls competed over 20 kilometres.

The competition opened on Friday with the individual road race events for all categories. The championship witnessed strong competition among participants and attracted broad participation, with 120 male and female cyclists taking part, particularly in the youth boys' and girls' divisions.

The event was organised in accordance with the regulations of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), allowing participants to earn international ranking points that count toward their global standings.
