New Record Set by Amir Najjar at Dead Sea Panorama Race

Amman: Jordanian Amir Najjar achieved a significant accomplishment by breaking the record for the fourth edition of the Panorama Hill Climb Race, which was previously held by Roger Feghali since 2024.

According to Jordan News Agency, during the race held in the Dead Sea area on Friday, Najjar clocked a time of 2 minutes and 23.639 seconds, surpassing the previous record of 2 minutes and 28.097 seconds. This victory marks Najjar's third win in the race's history, following his successes in 2022 and 2025.

The competition featured 28 participants from Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia. Notably, Hisham Najjar finished in second place, achieving his best time of 2 minutes and 26.483 seconds, while Husam Salem secured third place with a time of 2 minutes and 26.576 seconds.

In the front-wheel drive category, Mohammed Azzeh claimed first place with a time of 2 minutes and 49.959 seconds. Amjad Hourani followed closely, finishing second with a time of 2 minutes and 50.452 seconds, and Raad Rashid came in third with a time of 2 minutes and 51.148 seconds.

The rear-wheel drive category saw Saudi Jean Lahoud leading the standings with a time of 2 minutes and 28.974 seconds. Saif Mansour finished in second place with a time of 2 minutes and 40.553 seconds, while Khalil Mhaisen secured third place with a time of 2 minutes and 49.063 seconds.

The event, organized by the Jordan Motorsport Federation, was sponsored by several entities, including Zain Jordan, Toyota Gazoo Racing, Hala Radio, and Plus FM. The race showcased intense competition and exceptional performances by all participants.
