Amman: Orange Jordan announced that it would temporarily change the name of its network to "Inclusion" until December 10 in celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. In a statement released Tuesday, the company explained that the initiative aims to raise awareness about including persons with disabilities in all its programmes and activities. According to Jordan News Agency, the initiative, in partnership with the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HCD), seeks to empower persons with disabilities, highlight their rights and promote their integration into society to ensure their active contribution to their communities. Orange Jordan emphasised that empowering persons with disabilities effectively begins with changing societal attitudes and adopting the principle of equal opportunities.
