Amman: The "Enhancing Success Opportunities for Jordanian and Syrian Students in Host Communities" project, organized by the "Madrasati" initiative in collaboration with the Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair Refugee Education Fund, concluded with a ceremony attended by key stakeholders, including representatives from the Ministry of Education, project partners, and participants from the targeted schools.
According to Jordan News Agency, the event emphasized the collective effort to empower students through accessible education. Sahar Shakhatreh, Secretary General for Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Education, highlighted the project's role in fostering cooperation aimed at providing meaningful learning experiences. Shakhatreh underscored the ministry's commitment to equipping students with the tools necessary for a brighter future, describing the initiative as a national investment in human capital.
Tala Swais, Director of the "Madrasati" initiative, shared that the project impacted over 4,200 Jordanian and Syrian students, focusing on career guidance, employability skills, and core subjects. Swais noted that the project brought about significant changes, with students developing a positive perspective towards vocational education.
Dana Balqer, Head of Regional Programs at the Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair Refugee Education Fund, stressed the importance of educational investment as a catalyst for development. The project's outcomes were presented at the ceremony, showcasing its impact through student success stories and achievements during its implementation.
