The Ministers of State for Public Sector Development, Kheir Abu Seileek, and Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Sami Smeirat, checked on the construction site of the Government Services Center in Jerash Governorate, in the presence of Governor, Firas Al-Faour and Mayor Ahmad Al-Atoum. Abu Seileek emphasized that this visit comes in line with the government's field approach to check on the needs of citizens and to see the progress of work on vital projects in order to overcome the obstacles facing them, lauding the efforts of Jerash Municipality, the governorate, and partners to complete the government services building. He pointed out that government service centers are essential and aim to provide a specific and integrated window to improve the quality of services provided to citizens and visitors, so that citizens would witness a noticeable improvement in the quality of services, noting that these projects are a pivotal part of the public sector modernization roadmap, which represents a key track with in the three tracks of the comprehensive modernization project. Smeirat pointed out that the centers, which are being established under the supervision of the ministry in a number of governorates of the Kingdom, within specific time frames, were established in response to the royal directives aimed at facilitating and simplifying procedures and reducing burdens on citizens, and within the executive program of the public sector development plan and the economic modernization vision. He added that the work of the centers is mainly based on providing distinctive services to various categories of citizens and easy access to services in one place and at any time, in a fast and of high quality manner, using advanced and innovative technologies, as well as maintaining communication with citizens and ensuring the progress of work in the center for the purpose of serving citizens and simplifying procedures.
