Russia Condemns Intensified Israeli Strikes on Gaza, Warns of Humanitarian Catastrophe

Moscow: The Russian Foreign Ministry on Monday accused Israel of intensifying its attacks on civilians in the Gaza Strip while disregarding the catastrophic humanitarian consequences for the enclave's population.

According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry reported that nearly 55,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 120,000 injured since the start of the military campaign. It noted that Gaza has suffered near-total destruction, with 80 percent of its territory rendered inaccessible to Palestinians.

The ministry also highlighted the toll on aid workers, stating that 470 humanitarian personnel have been killed, including 320 affiliated with the United Nations.
