Amman:The Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Jordan hosted a reception on Wednesday evening to commemorate the Kingdom's 96th National Day.
According to Jordan News Agency, the event saw the presence of HRH Prince Mired bin Raad bin Zeid, Chief Chamberlain, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nancy Namrouqa, alongside numerous government officials, parliamentary members, military representatives, media figures, ambassadors, and heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions.
Saudi Ambassador to Jordan, Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan Al Saud, highlighted the occasion as a testament to Saudi Arabia's history and development. He emphasized the strong ties between the leaderships and peoples of Saudi Arabia and Jordan, and noted ongoing efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields. The ambassador also pointed out the shared positions of the two countries on regional and international issues.
The celebration included presentations on Saudi Arabia's advancements across different sectors, along with traditional Saudi Ardah and folk performances.
