Amman: Director of the Education Directorate in Tafilah, Emran Lasasmah, in coordination with Tafilah Governor Sultan Madhi, announced that classes at public and private schools will start at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
According to Jordan News Agency, the decision was taken to ensure the safety of students and administrative and teaching staff in light of prevailing weather conditions and the likelihood of frost and icy conditions during the morning hours. The statement added that working hours for employees of the Directorate of Education will begin at 9:00 a.m.
