The Intelligence Agency thwarts the sale of a child by his parents in Baghdad

The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency thwarted the sale of a child by his parents in Baghdad.

The Agency stated in a statement: "The detachments specialized in combating organized crime arrested, in a tight ambush, and based on accurate information, a man and a woman who were trying to sell a child for 20 million dinars."

It added: "During the investigation with them, it was found that they are the parents of the child, and they explicitly admitted offering their child for sale, and they were referred to the concerned authorities."
