The Ministry of Finance held a meeting on Energy ISO 50001.
The Ministry stated in a statement: "The energy ISO team at the Ministry of Finance held, today, a coordination meeting that discussed the future plan for the work of the specialized team and the adoption of the international standard for energy management systems ISO, which is one of the most effective systems to reduce costs associated with energy and prevent its loss through the establishment of the ISO system 50001 for Energy Management, which works to develop standards to ensure the quality, safety and efficiency of products, services and systems, as the Ministry develops standards, including reducing energy consumption or reducing electricity consumption in the organization, and those goals require continuous improvement, such as more efficient consumption of energy and more sustainability, regardless of the type of power source used.
It is noteworthy that ISO 50001 is an international standard that allows organizations to systematically improve energy consumption practices in their operations and promote more efficient energy management.
