Amman: Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi on Saturday attended a free health day, organized by the "Your Smile is Our Goal" initiative at the Al-Fayha Charitable Society, under the slogan: "Together We Give, Together We Make a Difference." It offers specialized medical services and consultations to needy families and those who have difficulty accessing healthcare.
According to Jordan News Agency, Issawi toured the booths of participating organizations, reviewed medical services and tests they conducted, and was briefed on the treatment of patients, lauding participating organizations for this effort. Holding the free health day underlines the attention the Hashemite leadership gives to community and volunteer initiatives in serving citizens and supporting the most vulnerable families and individuals, said Issawi.
He praised organizers and partners, including national, medical, charitable organizations, companies, and individuals, who contributed, through their support and volunteer services. Such initiatives reflect the values of solidarity, compassion, and social responsibility that Jordanians are keen to uphold, he pointed out.
The medical services included dentistry, family medicine, maxillofacial surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, neurosurgery, urology and nephrology, pediatrics, otolaryngology, and hearing and speech tests. The health day also featured laboratory tests, blood draws, analyses, X-rays, and eye exams, as well as providing eyeglasses and medical supplies, giving access to comprehensive healthcare services for patients in one location.
Ghassan Sukkarieh, head of the "Your Smile is Our Goal", thanked the Royal Court Head for his patronage of the medical day, stressing the importance of volunteer work in serving the local community, especially vulnerable groups and individuals.
