Commission Of Integrity: An Employee Of The National Retirement Authority Overthrown Red-Handed While Receiving Bribery

The Federal Integrity Commission announced the overthrow of an employee of the National Retirement Authority and apprehended him red-handed taking bribery.

The Commission's Investigation Department stated, in a statement: "The Commission's Investigation Directorate in Baghdad took the initiative to form a team to investigate the information contained in a citizen's complaint, including his exposure to blackmail and bargaining in exchange for completing his retirement transaction."

It added: "The team, after confirming the validity of the information contained in the complaint, rushed to set up a tight ambush for the employee in agreement with the complainant, and was able to catch the accused red-handed while receiving the bribe amounting to (450,000) dinars, according to the agreement, in return for completing the transaction related to the deceased father of the complainant.”

It continued: "A duly report was organized for the operation, which was carried out, based on the provisions of Resolution No. (160 of 1983)."
