Amman: Details have emerged from a tragic incident at a private social center in Husban, located in the Na'ur district of Amman. The South Amman Police Directorate reported on Saturday that an armed man entered the facility and opened fire, resulting in the deaths of his wife, who was employed at the center, and two other employees.
According to Jordan News Agency, the shooter was later found dead from a gunshot wound, the origin of which is currently under investigation. The Public Security Directorate (PSD) confirmed that the social center is not connected to the Ministry of Social Development.
Initial findings from the investigation suggest that the shooting was motivated by a family dispute. Authorities have sent the bodies to the forensic department for further examination, and the investigation into the incident continues.
