Energy Commission Receives Over 1,000 License Applications in April

Amman: Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC) received 1,096 license applications across various sectors during April. Among these, 9 applications targeting the Kingdom's oil and petroleum products sector were turned down.

According to Jordan News Agency, data published on the commission's website indicates that 454 applications were for the radiation and nuclear sector, while 34 applications were aimed at the electricity and renewable energy industry. Additionally, 397 requests were focused on the natural resources sector, and 211 applications came from the oil and petroleum products business.
