Amman: Indian tech giant Zoho Corporation opened its new office in Amman on Thursday. The Amman hub will deliver direct localization support for the group's two primary technology brands: Zoho (business applications) and ManageEngine (enterprise IT management and security).
According to Jordan News Agency, the facility will also house dedicated teams for sales, marketing, partner enablement, and customer support, focusing heavily on recruiting Jordanian talent. Talking at the opening ceremony, Sami Smairat, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, stated the investment reflects "global confidence in Jordan's digital infrastructure and tech ecosystem." He added that the move aligns with the Kingdom's Economic Modernization Vision (EMV) to drive digital economy growth, create high-value jobs, and accelerate digital transformation across both public and private sectors, particularly for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The step builds upon prior collaboration between the ministry and Zoho through the Jordan Source program. The Amman facility strengthens Zoho's regional footprint, joining established offices in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, and Bahrain, alongside major data centers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
In 2025, the company reported 39% business growth in Jordan, fueled by rising enterprise demand for its customer relationship management (CRM) tools, the Zoho One suite, Zoho Workplace, and Zoho Books accounting software. This expansion contributed to a broader 41% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for Zoho across the MENA region over the past five years, making it the company's second-fastest-growing market worldwide.
In turn, Zoho MENA President Hyther Nizam called Jordan a strategic market, describing the new office as the culmination of two years spent training local talent and building regional capacity. ManageEngine plans to scale up its technical support from the new office. Nirmal Manoharan, Vice President of Sales at ManageEngine, noted a direct physical presence addresses a "critical need for local IT leaders managing complex, hybrid, and secure corporate environments."
