Israeli sources reported that two Israeli police officers were injured in a shooting attack towards a police station in Bab Al-Sahira in Al-Quds.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu interrupted his speech after news emerged of the shooting in Bab Al-Sahira.
Spokesmen for the Israeli police in Al-Quds announced in their preliminary report the shooting incident in Bab al-Sahira, noting that a report had been received a short while ago about shooting towards the Shalem station in the Al-Quds area.
Subsequently, large police forces, led by the Al-Quds District Commander, were called to the scene.
In the latest news about the operation, the perpetrator of this attack was killed.
It should be noted that this operation is classified as the first operation of this kind, specifically in the city of Al-Quds, 6 days after the bloody confrontations between Hamas and the Israeli army following the Palestinian movement’s launch of Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood.”
Al-Quds also received a share of rocket fire from Gaza, and air sirens sounded throughout the city.
