Israeli Forces Conduct Raids Across West Bank and Jerusalem, Resulting in Death and Arrests

Jenin: A Palestinian man was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Rummanah, Jenin, on Thursday, while 34 others were arrested during wide-scale raids in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition at 55-year-old Ahmad Ali Al-Amour, subsequently running him over with a military vehicle and seizing his body. In addition, Al-Amour's sons were taken into custody by the soldiers.

Local sources indicated that Israeli forces stormed the town, raiding numerous homes and causing vandalism. Snipers were positioned throughout the area amid a substantial military presence, leading to a large-scale arrest campaign in the town.

Al-Amour's death brings the total number of Palestinians killed in the Jenin governorate since the onset of the Israeli offensive on January 11 to 41.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society reported that Israeli forces carried out extensive raids, home searches, and arrests in several areas of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem. A total of 34 Palestinians, mostly from Jerusalem, were detained as part of an intensified campaign targeting residents' homes.
