Dozens of extremist Jewish settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, supported by Israeli soldiers police, who launched a campaign of arrests against a number of Jerusalemites. The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem stated that dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa in the form of successive groups and carried out "provocative" tours in its yards and performed Talmudic rituals near its gates.
