Baghdad- The Palestinian Ministry of Culture announced today, Wednesday, that artist Enas Al-Saqqa and her two daughters were martyred in an Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry stated, in a post on its official Facebook site, that “the artist Enas Al-Saqqa and her two daughters, Lynn and Sarah, were martyred as a result of the ongoing bombing of the Gaza Strip.”
It added: "Enas Al-Saqqa has previously participated in many workshops in the field of drama and theater with children, and has participated in many community interactive activities."
The artist Enas Al-Saqqa is considered one of the pioneers of theater in Gaza. She previously participated in several prominent plays, including “Something is Happening” and “The Bear.” She also presented works intended for children, and participated in workshops with the “Ishtar” Theater in Al-Quds and the Swedish Academy.
