Royal Court Chief Patronizes National Day Celebrations in Amman

Amman: Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Hassan Al-Issawi patronized a national celebration on Monday marking Independence Day and the Accession to the Throne Day. The event was organized by the Union of Jordanian Women initiative, an offshoot of the Daem For Women Empowerment Association, in cooperation with the Abu Nusair Sports Club, local charities, official institutions, and civil society groups. The ceremony was attended by official, popular, cultural, and educational figures.

According to Jordan News Agency, speakers at the ceremony emphasized that Independence Day represents a luminous milestone in the journey of the Jordanian state, reflecting political, economic, and developmental achievements under the Hashemite leadership. Sultan Al-Awamleh, President of the Abu Nusair Sports Club, said the celebration reflects Jordanians' pride in a national journey built on determination. He recalled the sacrifices of the founding generation who established the modern Jordanian state, noting that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, continues its path of development and stability despite regional challenges.

Rana Al-Daoud, head of the Union of Jordanian Women initiative, stated that independence is an ongoing process of modernization and development. She praised the Hashemite leadership's role in maintaining Jordan's regional standing, security, and approach to moderation and expressed gratitude to the participating entities.

Speaking on behalf of the Jordanian Nashmiyat Coalition, Wijdan Al-Ofeishat said Jordan has established itself as a regional model of stability and wisdom. The event, moderated by media presenter Ola Abu Jamous, concluded with a special ceremony honoring the mothers of fallen soldiers and injured veterans in recognition of their national service and sacrifices. The event also featured an exhibition by the Royal Motorcycle Club of Jordan amid a celebratory national atmosphere.
